Discount everything flatly and burn margin you did not need to. Or discount nothing until the stock quietly turns into a write-off. There was no engine deciding, per SKU, what a deal should actually be.
Watching e-commerce teams work, the same pattern showed up again and again. A flat sitewide sale would go out - the same percentage on everything - rewarding shoppers who would have paid full price, while the genuinely slow stock still did not move enough.
And on the other side, products would sit. No one had the time to watch every SKU, so aging inventory drifted toward dead stock until a panic markdown cleared it at a loss. Both habits came from the same gap: there was no system deciding the right discount, on the right product, at the right moment.
ERADEALZ exists to close that gap. It reads margin, inventory age, and competitor pricing per SKU, and composes the deal, bundle, or flash sale that moves stock without giving away profit. The engine does the deciding. A person still does the approving.
